в Вуртбурге (Нидерланды) как Sandy Coast Skiffle Group, но потом они еще трижды меняли название: Тhe Sandy Coast Five, Sandy Coast Rockers и, наконец, Sandy Coast. Rainbow Train.
• On October 28, 1961 established the 14-year-old Hans Vermeulen in Voorburg on a skifflegroepje called the Sandy Coast Skiffle Group. The group consisted beside himself from Joldert de Vries, Johan van Boven, Fred Starrenburg and Onno Bevoort. Vermeulen wanted his brother Jan guitarist of the band was, but did so only on condition that the group no longer playing skiffle. That was agreed and the group changed in the Sandy Coast Rockers. Later the name was shortened to Sandy Coast. De Vries, Van Boven and Starrenburg left the group in 1964 and bassist Jos de Jager and guitarist Charles Kersbergen were in place. However Kersbergen left the group after a short time.
The group performed at the beginning lot in community centers and participated in talent shows. On that talent shows, the group was often second, because the group is always a great following of fans and took the organizers why they wanted to come back. The interest in talent shows therefore took some off from the group, but when in 1965 the music magazine Hitwezen a talent contest organized, took the group on the condition that they would be declared the winner. The prize was a record deal with Negram. As promised, the group contract and Nelson Eddy & the Edison, won the group Ouwens Eddy, was second.
