Pretty Teresa Graves was a member of the pop group "The Doodletown Pipers". She also appeared on "Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In" from 1969 to 1970 & appeared in a few films, "That Man Bolt" ('73), "Black Eye" ('74), & "Vampira" ('74). In 1975 she was the first African American actress to appear in her own hour long TV series, "Get Christie Love!" which ran from '74-'75. After the show was canceled, she left show business for good & devoted herself full-time to being a Jehovah's Witness. She died in 2002 from a fire in her home. She was 54. She recorded this self-titled album in 1970, on the Kirshner label. Her voice was pleasant enough, but nothing really extra special. (Value of this rare LP has increased since her passing).
