• This album is dedicated to Ginger. Through the years, it has become established and realized that the longer a band sticks together, the tighter and more cohesive it becomes. After all, it makes sence. Practice, common experience and the unpredictable changes a group of people literally living together must go through make a tighter unit.
• So if a time-tested band is a tight unit, then a time-tested family is an even tighter one. Silverbird is a tightly knit band and an even more tightly knit family. Originally from New Mexico, Silverbird consists of brothers Gilbert, 15, Mark 17, and Perry, 16, along with nephew Rudy, 20, mother Virginia and father Reuben. As to the ages of Ma and Pa, Virginia told me to ask Reuben and Reuben told me to ask Virginia.
• Their music is based on harmonies that are bellringing and melodies that are so encompassing that a message, it's to tale a little off your back, remove a worry or two and maybe even add several smiles to your day. As far as I'm concerned, that's plenty. (back cover)
