Are You Ready - третий альбом группы, который принес им долгожданный хит. Заглавный трек "Are you ready?" летом 1970 г. вошел в топ-20 американского хит-парада. Несмотря на явную коммерческую удачу, группа после этого фактически развалилась, остался лишь один Allen. Но потом был подобран новый состав и выбрано новое название - PG&E. Это уже был на все 100% сольный проект Charlie Allen.

Starting out like a freight train with the title track it should not completely surprise the listener if there is a drop in energy in the subsequent cuts. Perhaps the next best song is “Love, Love, Love, Love, Love” which fortunately is more dynamic than the title.
Most of the songs are a mixture of psychedelic blues and soul and they are fairly well done. The bigger drawbacks are their renditions of “Staggolee” and “When a Man Loves a Women”. Two songs that were covered way too often in their time and PGE doesn’t offer anything refreshing with their attempts.                                                                                                                                    (otismidnight RYM)
