• Valentine's history goes back to late 60's Philadelphia and originally included one half of Hall & Oates - Jon Oates in its line-up. Evidently they were quite popular in the city of brotherly love and it didn't hurt lead vocalist Frank Stallone's brother Sylvester was a rising star by the time the groups only album hit the racks or did it? According to Stallone the band were ruined by its association with the film 'Rocky' and were seen as a manufactured entity, yet it didn't seem to affect Stallone's solo career as he was featured prominently on several 'Rocky' related soundtracks in the following years, but that's another story...
